YIPPIE KI-YAI YOO HOO - Rota {Entry for June 13, 2007}

well this is a new one i wrote in bangalore.. well the title is very
fancy i know but the content is down to earth .... lemme explai first
what is yippi ki-yai yoo hoo .. its a state of ecstasy joy ... when ur
whole body feels adrenalized and u just leap like you have wings to
fly ... i wish it had more flow.. somehow i feel there is lack in the
flow.. anyways lemme know how it is..

My mind feels like a garden,
A garden of beautiful thoughts.
My thoughts are the flowers,
Fresh,fragrant and in bloom.
A single rose stands out of all flowers
Blood red in colour
Reminds me of passion
Reminiscent of you.

I look outside my window into the dark.
It's almost midnight as i hear the dog's bark.
There is a lake close to my place
It's still water at night is a sight i don't like seeing.
As i look at it,i get an eerie feeling.
The still water reflects the moon's glow
Reminds me of my dreams woven in your wellbeing
Reminiscent of you .

I am on a bus ride on a highway
The skyline portrays a picturesque flyway
Lightening strikes the sky
Like an artist making silver streaks fly
Thunders add the sound effect with their roar
The wet mud smell when sky kisses earth
And the silver streaks reminds me of smile and lips,
Reminiscent of you.


I see a hill in my colony, all green
Little streams adding up to its sheen
Streams running wild with nothing to stop
Flow mellows down as they reach bottom from mountain top
The journey they take is so curvy and supine
Like a sensuous woman draped in vine
Streams remind me of free spirit and curves
Reminiscent of you

All thoughts reminiscent of you
Makes me go Yippie Ki-Yai Yoo Hoo
