The NothingMan - rota ( Rohit) 20th april 2008

I have written something after a long time. This is inspired by the pearl jam song Nothingman ..I couldn't find a better title for this one. There may be a few mistakes of changes in final edition as i didn't get time to review what i have written

The Nothingman

Some time ago, like a few years back

When words wouldn't flow, smooth as flour into a sack

He tried his best, in adding rhythm to his life.

Lived a life of his own, dealing matters by way of heart

Never bothering the outcome, that could rip his life apart.

The Nothingman, what a pathetic mess … The Nothingman….

Fate took him one day, to a song that she wrote

In her song he found, a few notes that touched his soul.

He tried to know her, as a friend through the journey he rode

The more he knew her, put him back on a roll

Drive that had once gone missing came back with a fizz

Words began to ooze, to a river of songs

They came close enough, to do a duet song.

He being a dreamer thought he found something to hold on forever

He just believed, they were destined to be together

Little did he know, Sun and the Moon can't be around together.

Oh! What a fool – The Nothingman………

Made a mountain of a mole – The Nothingman….

She once said, she knew of his feelings for her

Never confronted them the right way, and she can't be there

For The Nothingman, Ooh yeah The Nothingman….

Life felt like a fucking trap, for The Nothingman……

He just wished, none to be like him

A life less ordinary of, The Nothingman……

Glad I am back, with this ramble
